Project Overview
As part of our mission to support manufacturing resilience and productivity across West Africa, Gottviewz Nigeria Limited undertook the successful reactivation of a 25L Jerry Can Extrusion Blow Molding Machine for Betra Sarl, a leading packaging and industrial solutions company located in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
The blow molding machine had been inactive for an extended period due to mechanical degradation, control system issues, and maintenance lapses. Our objective was to bring the equipment back to optimal operational condition, enabling Betra Sarl to resume full-capacity production of high-quality 25-liter jerry cans.
🔧 Scope of Work
The reactivation process encompassed a multi-phase technical intervention involving diagnostics, part replacement, system integration, and test production.
Key project activities included:

Thorough mechanical inspection to identify wear points, damaged components, and alignment issues.

Refurbishment and replacement of hydraulic components, heaters, extruders, and mold clamps.

Rewiring and troubleshooting of electrical and PLC control systems, including sensor alignment and HMI interfacing.

Cleaning and re-polishing of molds for precision and product consistency.

Calibration and test runs, including thickness distribution and cycle time optimization.
