As part of our commitment to delivering top-tier hygiene engineering solutions across Nigeria’s beverage manufacturing industry, Gottviewz Nigeria Limited was contracted by Guinness Nigeria Plc at their Ogba Brewery in Ikeja, Lagos, to reactivate the external cleaning system for two KHS Isobarometric Bottle Fillers.

This project was aimed at restoring automated external filler cleaning functionality—critical to ensuring high hygiene standards, minimizing contamination risks, and optimizing equipment performance in one of Nigeria’s premier beverage production facilities.

🔧 Scope of Work

The reactivation process involved a full end-to-end rehabilitation of the external Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) system for two high-capacity KHS Isobaric filling machines used in carbonated drink bottling.

Key project deliverables included:

• System audit to assess the existing condition and identify points of failure in the cleaning network.

• Replacement of faulty spray nozzles, valves, manifolds, and associated fittings.

• Calibration of dosing units for accurate delivery of cleaning agents and disinfectants.

• Reprogramming of the cleaning cycle parameters to ensure effective coverage and rinse quality.

• Reintegration with the plant’s CIP control system for seamless operation.

• Performance testing and validation, including flow verification, contact time analysis, and pressure checks.

• Training of Guinness technical and operations personnel on optimal use and basic troubleshooting.
